Suggested Directions to Starseed

From East or North:

Take Route 2 West. Follow through towns of Buckland, Shelburne and Charlemont to Savoy. Approximately 1.5 miles past "ENTERING SAVOY" sign, turn left immediately before "ENTERING FLORIDA" sign, onto Black Brook Road (unmarked). If you cross bridge you have gone too far. Follow Black Brook Road uphill 3.5 miles, bearing right at fork. When you cross four corners, Black Brook Road continues as Chapel Road. Starseed is then on the left. Look for a barn and two houses in a row, numbered 672 & 662, with the Starseed sign in front.

From South (two options):

1) Take 91 North to exit 26, Greenfield/Route 2 exit and follow directions above for "From East or North".

2) Or, from 91 North, take exit 25 and continue on Rte 116 North through Conway, Ashfield and Plainfield. Watch for "ENTERING SAVOY" sign on left. Continue approximately a mile and you will see two "SHADY PINE CAMPGROUND" signs, one on each side of the road. Turn right here, onto Loop Road (unmarked). Go past campground approximately 2 miles. Take right at Chapel Road. The elementary school is immediately on your right. Continue on Chapel Road for 3 miles. Starseed will be on your right. Look for two houses in a row, numbered 672 & 662, with the Starseed sign in front.

From Pittsfield area:

Take Route 8 to Dalton. Turn left onto Route 9 East and follow into Windsor. Turn left at sign (on left) onto Route 8A to Savoy. Follow 8A to the end, turn right onto Route 116. Stay on 116 approximately 1.5 miles; turn left onto Loop Road. Go uphill approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Chapel Road. The elementary school is immediately on your right. Continue on Chapel Road for 3 miles. Starseed will be on your right. Look for two houses in a row, numbered 672 & 662, with the Starseed sign in front.

From Williamstown area:

Take Route 2 East. After entering town of Florida, look for "ENTERING SAVOY" sign on left. Turn right immediately after the bridge onto Black Brook Road (unmarked). Follow Black Brook Road uphill 3.5 miles, bearing right at fork. When you cross four corners, Black Brook Road continues as Chapel Road. Starseed is then on the left. Look for a barn and two houses in a row numbered 672 & 662, with the Starseed sign in front.

Parking:

For larger events there is a parking lot at the south end of the front property (away from the barn).

For individual retreats or smaller group gatherings, parking is available in driveway beside the Retreat House.
